Dear workshop participant,

We would like to notify you that you are registered to the Preparatory Workshop for Medical Interns at MSR (The National Medical Simulation Center, Tel Hashomer) as you were notified in the invitation letter.

Your attention please: If you were scheduled to start your workshop at an inconvenient date you can try to chose a different date using our Learning System.

Remember that the Health Department requires to attend the workshop within two month of the date of starting your internship. If the workshop you chose is full you can trade places with another person using our Facebook (a dedicated post is available). Please notify our office of the change ( only one of you), with the dates and your ID numbers at least one week before the start of the planned workshop.

Instructions for login to the Workshop Website:

Enter the Learning website: https://lms.msr.org.il, and use your login information:

• Username: your email as received from the Department of Health.
• Password: your ID number (9 digits) or the password you chose if you registered independently.

It is very important to enter the MSR website as soon as you get this notice. If you have any login problems you will find a link allowing a change of password. This website includes a lot helpful information (in Hebrew). 

The website provides information about the workshop, time schedule for all the workshop activities, preparatory materials, including presentations, Learning packages and a site map for easy orientation.

Required before the beginning of the workshop:

1. It is Mandatory to take the Preliminary ACLS test (can be repeated if failed)
2. It is mandatory to finish the Learning Package – “The dying patient” and pass the test before the workshop.  

Important: if you have any technical difficulties you can refer questions to the following email, MSR.MoodleSupport@sheba.health.gov.il, giving your full name and id number, with an explanation of the problem (including a screenshot if possible).

The Simulation Workshop:

• The Instruction at the workshop is in Hebrew! In this workshop, you will learn and be trained in various practical clinical proficiencies and communication skills needed for your future work as Interns in hospitals. You will be guided by trainers experienced in simulation scenarios, medical procedures, and communion proficiencies utilizing advanced medical simulation of real environments. This realistic environment promotes effective and structured learning followed by documentation, and immediate feedback to the trainees, without any danger to patients. Important General Information:

• You must show an Approval Certificate for Internship – to be allowed to participate in the workshop.

• Participation in the workshop is a prerequisite before starting your internship at a hospital.

• Registration and gathering will take place at the MSR auditorium on Sunday at 8:00 – 8:15. Please be prompt. The workshop will start at 8:30 exactly!
• It is mandatory to participate in all the workshop days, in all the hours without any exception
• On the first day of the workshop, there will be a lecture on 'Advanced resuscitation (ACLS)' . It will be given at the MSR Auditorium between 16:00 - 17:30. The lecture is important and ןד highly recommended!
• You have to come with a robe or hospital cloths. Bring a statoscope if you can.
• A written test will be given during the workshop and a second test will be given to those who failed the first test. 
• There will be a 30-minute lunch break daily and vegetarian sandwiches will be provided. You can bring your own food and store it in the MSR refrigerator.
• There will be an applied test on the last day of the workshop. Another test at a later date will be given for those who failed the test.

In order to receive a workshop completion certificate, you must satisfy the following conditions:

• Arrive on time to all the activities in the workshop.
• Active participation in scenarios and to perform as team leader in two scenarios.
• Passing the ACLS test.
