Surgical Workstation MSR
|
|
|
| |
In collaboration with I2D (a leading industrial design company in Israel) and Breslauer-Stortz, MSR has designed and built a mobile Surgical Workstation unit. The Surgical Workstation is for teaching general and specific surgical skills (from basic open surgical skills to advanced minimally evasive surgical techniques).
The mobile Surgical Workstation contains four surgical workspaces. The workstation enables training on an array of surgical skills and facilitates debriefing using audiovisual monitoring and recording equipment.
For further information regarding purchase of the Surgical Workstation, please contact MSR

MIST VR simulator
Mentice
|
|
|
| |
The MIST VR simulator is a computer-based system designed to teach and assess basic minimally invasive surgical skills to more advanced skill such as suturing and knot tying.
The MIST VR simulator is comprised of a frame holding two standard laparoscopic instruments electronically linked to computer. The screen displays the virtual reality (VR) movement of the surgical instruments in real time 3D graphics. The system allows trainees to work through a series of essential surgical tasks of progressive complexity. Each task is based on a key surgical technique used in laparoscopy. Tasks begin by using simple geometrical shapes to develop key psychomotor skills. Left and right hand repetitions are employed to encourage ambidextrous working.

The LAP Mentor is a force feedback interactive computerized laparoscopic simulator with realistic visualization of the intraabdominal cavity. The LAP Mentor enables task training of basic laparoscopic skills (didactic laparoscopic basic tasks in a non- anatomic setting, such as eye-hand-coordination, depth perception), to the performance of complete laparoscopic surgery using an extensive collection of laparoscopic tools with haptic sensation.
Features:
- Two instruments with five degrees of freedom
- High performance force feedback devices
- Endoscope with four degrees of freedom
- Freeze picture switch
- Foot switch for activation of electrosurgical coagulation
- Customizable training program
- Cases with realistic scenarios of patient situations.

ANGIO Mentor
Simbionix
|
|
|
| |
The ANGIO Mentor is a force feedback interactive computerized endovascular procedure simulator. The ANGIO Mentor enables trainees to perform diagnostic angiograms by inserting a catheter into an artery under fluoroscopic guidance, with subsequent injection of contrast material and imaging of the entire vascular distribution. Trainees can diagnose vascular occlusive diseases perform interventional procedure (such as, full angioplasty balloon dilation procedures, or similar procedures using a stent or other interventional devices, perform full neurological examination, and administer medications), while monitoring intra-arterial pressure gradients, and monitoring the patient's vital signs.
Features:
- Simulation and display of real time fluoroscopic images and C-arm operation, providing both still frames and "road map" images
- Cineangiographic and digital subtraction angiography
- Customizable training program
- Cases with realistic scenarios of patient situations.

UltraSim
MedSim
|
|
|
| |
The UltraSim is a computer-driven, B-mode, color, and spectral Doppler ultrasound task trainer with real-time sonographic images. The simulator provides physicians and sonographers a realistic hands-on ultrasound scanning experience. The UltraSim simulates a variety of normal and abnormal cases.
Features:
- The mannequin can be scanned with the
3.5 MHz convex probe across the abdomen (especially during kidney and spleen examinations) and the 5.0 MHz transvaginal probe is designed for transvaginal examinations for gynecology and obstetrics, and the 7.5 MHz linear probe can be used for breast scanning. |
