Medical School Candidates Screening

In collaboration with the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation (NITE), MSR provides simulation-based personality screening of medical and dental school candidates.

Recognizing the limitations of previous standardized tests in selecting those students with the best communication skills, this process serves as a supplement to the previous methods of assessment.  This innovative project highlights those students that demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and innate capacity for compassion in an effort to improve the selection of the physicians and dentists of tomorrow.

The schools using personality screening as part of their assessment are:

  • The Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University
  • The Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, Haifa
  • The Hadassah School of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University Jerusalem
