House Cast Visited MSR

Actors, producers from hit medical TV series test robotic tools used in cutting-edge medical procedures at Sheba Medical Center. Life is imitating art for the cast members of the FOX television series House during their stay in Israel. David Shore, visited MSR, the Israel Center for Medical Simulation. After playing clips from the last episode of their show’s sixth season, which featured a patient who required a limb amputation following a building collapse, the famous visitors took turns using laparoscopic surgery devices to simulate the procedure. David Shore thanked Prof. Ziv, the founder and Director of MSR and said "It was a real pleasure; you, your people and especially your program were very impressive - it's nice to see people actually saving lives while we pretend to" .
