Advanced Gynecological Laparoscopy

Target Population: Experienced surgeons with advanced knowledge in laparoscpic surgery. Objectives: To become familiar with the instruments and techniques used in laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic Myomectomy and  lapraroscopv management of deep infiltrating endometriosis.  Familiarization with pelvic anatomy, teamwork, means to reduce complications of laparoscopy, risk management, optimal use of electrocautery and other means of energy transfer. Course Description: These one to three day courses include oral and video sessions, practical demonstrations and "hands on" experience, live surgery demonstrations and animal laboratory training in small groups.  Participants who demonstrate the knowledge and practical skills to use laparoscopic surgery will receive a certificate of successful completion.  This course is held in collaboration with the Israel Training Endoscopy Center.
