and manage pediatric patients who were abused and to discuss medical and legal issues.
Course Description: Participants encounter actors simulating patients, their immediate family, or caretakers, in situations involving physical, emotional, sexual and financial abuse and neglect. Colleagues and debriefing facilitators observe the encounters through one-way glass panels. Upon completion of the encounter, the participant receives feedback from the simulated patient, colleagues and debriefing facilitators, while watching the recorded session. |
