Amitai Ziv Has Been Appointed as Clinical Associate Professor by Tel Aviv University

Amitai Ziv, has been appointed as Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Education, Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University in recognition of his work in medical education.  Professor Ziv is the Chairman of the Department of Medical Education. Professor Amitai Ziv MD, MHA, is Deputy Director of the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer, Israel, and is responsible for Risk Management, Quality Assurance

and Medical Education; he is also founder and Director of MSR, the Israel Center for Medical Simulation. He founded the Israel Center for Medical Simulation to lead a nationwide effort to introduce new standards and innovative approaches to health care training and patient safety education. Professor Ziv is a world renowned expert in the field of medical education and has been invited to give Grand Rounds at institutions worldwide including the Mayo Clinic, Case Western University, McGill University, and Albert Einstein Medical Center in Sao Paolo, Brazil. He is the recipient of national and international awards including The 2007 Charles Bronfman Award for Humanitarian Action and The 2007 Michener Honorary Diploma of Health Science Award for leadership and commitment to the for Applied health sciences.
